Notion Mail 才推出一年多，就準備結束獨立 inbox 服務。Notion 官方說明確認，Notion Mail inbox 將在 2026 年 9 月 22 日關閉，9 月 21 日則是使用者保存 Notion Mail-only data 的最後期限。這次調整並不代表 Gmail 郵件會消失，因為 Notion Mail 本來就是與 Gmail 雙向同步；但草稿、排程郵件、snippets、auto label instructions 等只存在於 Notion Mail 的內容，必須在期限前自行匯出或遷移。
從 email app 退場，轉向 AI agents 工作流
這次關閉的真正重點，是 Notion 對 email 產品定位的改變。相較於維護一個完整郵件客戶端，Notion 現在更想把 email 放進 AI agents 與 Gmail AI Connector 的工作流裡。官方 FAQ 表示，使用者在 9 月 22 日後仍可用 Gmail AI Connector 搜尋 Gmail、草擬回覆；已經加入 Notion pages 的 mail blocks 也會保留，透過 Gmail 連接的 agent email tools 也會繼續運作。換句話說，Notion 不是放棄 email，而是放棄把 email 做成獨立 inbox。
使用者最需要注意的是資料邊界
對既有使用者而言，最容易誤解的地方在於「哪些資料會留下」。收發過的 email history 仍在 Gmail，不受 Notion Mail 關閉影響；但 Notion Mail 內的 custom views、sorting、email reminders，以及 snippets 附件並不會自然轉到 Gmail。若團隊曾依賴 Notion Mail 的 auto label rules，也需要先匯出 instructions，之後再用具備 Gmail access 的 Custom Agent 建立類似流程。對 HIPAA 或合規環境使用者，官方也提醒可能需要比一般用戶更早完成轉移。
Skiff 整合後的產品路線出現明確取捨
Notion Mail 源自 Notion 收購 Skiff 後的產品整合，原本試圖打造更聰明、更個人化的 inbox。不過，在 AI agents 逐漸成為 Notion 核心敘事後，維持一個跨桌面、網頁與 iOS 的郵件 app，顯然不再是最優先方向。這項決定也提醒使用者，AI 工作流平台正在重新定義「工具」本身：未來可能不是打開另一個 email app，而是在知識庫、專案頁與 agent 指令中完成郵件搜尋、整理、草擬與追蹤。
